Dina Meyer is an New York native who was raised in Forest Hills Queens. She moved to Dix Hills Long Island just before she finished her junior high. Dina Meyer has two brothers, Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger. Her first experience in the industry of entertainment was when she did some modeling at the age of 9 to 16. Ron Stetson trained her in the methods of acting taught by Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. The other actors who received such training are Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, among others. Her first acting role came from Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. In the next couple of months, she was offered the part of Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge for nearly all stunts and showed herself to be an accomplished actress. It was through the agents Matt LeBlanc, the talent agent Matt LeBlanc that she was successful in securing a regular role in the TV show Friends.
